There is no pressure to join Core Strength Pilates afterwards. My recommendation may be one of my online programmes, a local studio, a combination of online and in-person Pilates, or another approach that suits you best.

Before Booking Safe Start

Please speak with your doctor or healthcare professional before booking if you:
– Have been advised to avoid or restrict exercise
– Have an unstable or uncontrolled heart condition, blood pressure or breathing condition
– Experience unexplained chest pain, dizziness, fainting or severe shortness of breath
– Have a recent fracture or an injury that has not healed
– Have had surgery within the last 12 months and have not yet been cleared to exerciseIf you have osteoporosis, osteopenia, arthritis, an existing injury or another long-term condition, you are very welcome to contact me before booking. We can discuss your circumstances and whether Safe Start is an appropriate next step for you.
Safe Start provides Pilates and movement guidance and is not a medical assessment, diagnosis or substitute for advice from your doctor or physiotherapist.

“What if I’m completely new to exercise?”
That’s absolutely fine. This session is designed for beginners and for people returning after a long break. -
“Do I need any equipment?”
Comfortable clothing and a small clear space are enough and some sort of web camera (laptop, webcam, etc).. If you have a mat, great, but it’s not essential.
